Wade Sisson

My introduction to search engine optimization came in November 2000 when I was hired by a dotcom to "learn about this thing called SEO and make sure we're on top of it." I did a lot of reading - Bruce Clay was an early resource and remains one of the best to this day. I often felt like a salmon swimming upstream because it soon became apparent that all the stars (design, programming, content and marketing) needed to align to make a truly successful SEO arrangment for the company. I've been doing SEO ever since. I would never presume to call myself an expert, but I've learned a lot. Trends come and go, algorithms change and grow, but the universal truths remain unchanged after all these years, and I'm still learning new things all the time. It's an exciting field and satisfying when you're able to bring strong organic traffic to the client. Kansas City's SEO community is rather a small one, and I'm proud to be part of it.
