Twittering for Clients

I've been working for a pastor for three years now; building his blog, starting his pay-per-click campaign and increasing his presence on the internet. Last night I created a twitter account for him and started following people within faith based vertical. I used Twellow to find ministers, pastors and Christians and begin following. I began twittering what the pastor was doing in 140 characters even though it was really me. It felt really strange to pretend to be someone. It's at this time that it became clear why twittering and declaring who is doing the twittering is important and feels like the right thing to do. So remember, when you are building social media campaigns for clients, to declare your name when twittering for a brand or individual.
