General SEO

I have a local law firm looking for a freelance seo. I was a bit too expensive for them. As a favor I said I would send them some contacts so they could get additional bids.

I'm in the processes of buying domains for a client of mine and I'm using WordTracker and Keyword Discovery. It makes me uneasy to know if the numbers I'm reporting on are accurate.

Being a DMOZ editor I come across all kinds of sites. I edit a couple of SEO categories and I'm surprised by how many companies just don't get some of the basic SEO concepts.

I'm headed to SMX Advanced. Can't wait! Hopefully it'll be as fun as PubCon usually is. Anyone else going?

Very interesting that someone (anyone) is talking about this with all the lies, deception, and such that pollute the internet anyway:

We all know titles, meta and links are the building blocks of good SEO, but it always amazes me how many sites fail to add fresh content to the checklist of SEO strategies.

I just returned from the west coast. Facebook's f8 (Best Conference EVER!) 1 day conference and SMX's local/mobile event. Very insightful. Planning for SES San Jose next week.
